Florida dental office worker charged with grand theft

Randy Susan Verdino, 46, was charged with grand theft, use of another’s identity without their permission and two counts of illegal use of a credit card.

Verdino worked for Dr. Frederick Eck of Bonita Dental in Bonita Springs, Florida. She allegedly racking up over $2,000 in charges on Dr. Eck’s credit card from October to December. Some of the items purchased were 15 charter tickets for Key West Express and three flights to New Jersey, hotel rooms and other random purchases, according to reports.

Reports say Verdino’s spending spree ended when she charged $23 to the UPS store. The UPS store owner was able to identify her two days later in a photo lineup. Based on the evidence deputies obtained, Verdino was arrested and charged with Grand Theft, Credit Card Fraud and Criminal use of personal identification information.
