Dentist Finder San Diego

A Florida woman was charged with child abuse following complaints that she didn’t properly take care of her son’s dental health needs.

Vanessa Wright, 30, arrested after authorities claim that on four separate occasions she didn’t follow through with dental treatment for her 5-6 year-old son, resulting in a hospitalization in July to treat an infection. After being released from the hospital with orders to see the dentist the mother again failed to follow through with the required treatment.

Wright has Medicaid that would have covered the cost for the dental treatment at no cost to her.

The Department of Children and Families is also looking into the incident.
